MVA Involving MotorcycleEngine 105, Medic 105 and EMS 111 responded for a single vehicle accident at exit 8c on Interstate 395. State police also responded. Upon arrival units found the victim lying in the roadway. The victim suffered traumatic injuries and was transported in critical condition.

TOWER 104 Placed in SeRviceThe new Tower 104 is now on service. The BCFD would like to thank Pierce Mfg. and Atlantic Emergency Solutions for the excellent service they provided throughout the project.
Tower 104 Design FinalizedThe BCFD's apparatus committee and Pierce MFG have finalized plans for Tower 104's new apparatus. The new rig will feature a 100' Rear mounted aerial platform on a Pierce Arrow XT chassis. Delivery is expected in mid to late 2016.
BCFD AwARDS LARGE CONTRACT TO PIERCEThe Bricklington County Fire Department has signed a contract with Pierce for the delivery of 2 Engines, 1 Tower Ladder, and 1 Heavy Rescue with potential for additional add ons over the next couple years. The first of the new units, Tower 104 is expected to be delivered in mid to late 2016.

BCFD Places New TDA Into ServiceSaturday, October 3rd was an exciting day for the Bricklington County Fire Department as they placed their brand new 2015 Seagrave Marauder II TDA into service with Truck Company 101. Truck 101's C shift were the first ones to get to ride the new rig, which responded to its first fire that evening. The fire was a small apartment fire which was quickly extinguished. The new rig replaces a 2007 E-One Cyclone RMA. The BCFD's Public Information Officer says "The new rig will help us improve both customer service and firefighter safety by enabling a faster response and being able to carry more equipment than the old truck."

BCFD aWARDs Contract for new squad To Spartan ervBricklington County Fire Department has officially awarded the contract for Squad 107's new apparatus to Spartan ERV. The BCFD's public information officer stated that "After a careful evaluation of all bidders, it was determined that Spartan ERV was the best option for the construction of this new rig. We are very excited to work with them for the first time." The new apparatus will feature a Spartan Boomer aerial device and will be built on a Spartan Gladiator Custom Chassis. The apparatus committee has begun working with the sales rep to spec the rig. Delivery is projected to be in mid to late 2016.
